Fuel Truck Drivers for the 2012 fire season to assist our fire support helicopters in various locations in the Western United States.

Mandatory minimum requirements for a FUEL TRUCK DRIVER position:

• Possess and maintain a Class A or C CDL with Hazmat and tank endorsements or ability to obtain before field assignment.
• Proof of clean DMV driving Record
• Must pass physical and DOT Drug testing
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Applicants with prior fire contract experience will be given preference

Airframe and Powerplant Field Maintenance Personnel for the 2012 fire season to assist our fire support helicopters in various locations in the Western United States.

Mandatory minimum requirements for A&P FIELD MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL position:

• Current A&P License
• Previous experience with BHT-206L3 and/or AS-350 aircraft
• USFS/AMD Carded or capable of being carded
• 2 years minimum field experience crewing any of the following aircraft:
• AS350B2
• BHT-206L3
• Must pass physical and FAA Drug testing
• Personal tools
• Positive attitude, strong work ethics, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient at multitasking in a fast paced environment
• Applicants with prior fire contract experience will be given preference
• Possess and maintain a Class A or C CDL with Hazmat and tank endorsements or ability to obtain before field assignment.

Guardian Helicopters, Inc. UH-1H

Guardian is pleased to announce the addition of a Bell UH-1H ‘Huey’ helicopter to our fleet. This aircraft was completely refurbished by the talented staff at Rotorcraft Support, Inc.and just returned from Mexico flying firefighting missions.  The new Huey performed flawlessly under extensive use and extreme conditions. Upon return it was ready to go right into our rotation for various heavy lift jobs.

This Huey has a lift capacity of 4000 pounds on external hook and is perfect for various lift work.

Prior to going to Mexico, our new addition was put to use with short notice on frost prevention in Delano, CA. Helicopters are used to prevent frost on crops by moving warmer air from above the crops to the ground.

Current Projects:
Guardian has been working on various projects and currently has aircraft, pilots and ground support crew and vehicles stationed across the United States on fire fighting contracts in addition to various lift jobs and aerial photo shoots scheduled for the aircraft and crew that are currently at our base of operations at Van Nuys airport.
